Between dating a model and a Jonas brother, she still had time to post catty YouTube videos and set off a photography scandal with Annie Leibovitz in ‘Vanity Fair.’ Hey, she’s just being Miley!

  2. Kim Kardashian

    Your favorite reality show star branched out from her usual antics on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ to make a workout video, host ‘Wrestlemania’ and act in ‘Disaster Movie.’ She even hit the dance floor on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ unfortunately she hung up her dancing shoes after only three eliminations. Until her next gig is announced, we’ll just have to settle with more rumors that she and Reggie Bush are engaged.

  3. Paris Hilton

    This year, Paris proved that she is more than just a celebutante. A Harvard magazine named her Woman of the Year and she posed topless on the cover of ‘944.’ She also made a political statement when she spoke up against McCain after he used her image in one of his campaign videos. Now, she is on the search for a new BFF with her MTV show. Will her new best friend last longer than Nicole Richie?

  4. Oprah Winfrey

    Oprah is one of the biggest celebrities in the world, so it is only natural she made it on our topped searched list. In 2008, she announced plans to launch her own TV network and she started a philanthropy reality show called ‘Oprah’s Big Give.’ On the downside, she was sued for defamation by the ex-headmistress of her girls’ school in South Africa.

    Early this year, Jack Black spilled the beans that Brangelina were expecting to add two more children to their ever-expanding clan. In July, Angelina gave birth to twins Knox and Vivienne, and then sold their first images to ‘People’ and ‘Hello!’ for a total of over $14 million. Motherhood didn’t hold Angie back, though. She still had time to release three movies: ‘Wanted,’ ‘Kung Fu Panda’ and ‘Changeling.’

    The ‘High School Musical’ craze continued this year with Hudgens making her third appearance as Gabriella. This time it’s on the big screen. She also launched her first solo tour to promote her second album, ‘Identified,’ and maintained her off-screen relationship with on-screen boyfriend Zac Efron.

    Is she or isn’t she? The big question surrounding LiLo in 2008 was whether or not she has been dating Samantha Ronson. The pair maintains that they are close friends, but we think there is more. Amid the speculation, Lohan appeared on ‘Ugly Betty,’ recorded an album, feuded with her dad and re-created Marilyn Monroe’s famous last photo shoot for ‘New York Magazine.’

    Brit’s little sis shocked everyone when she announced that she was pregnant at only 16 years old. In June, she and fiancée Casey Aldridge welcomed baby Maddie Briann into the world. Fans were disappointed that she had to leave her show ‘Zoey 101’ and parents were concerned about her ability to be a good role model for other teens.

    After months of denying pregnancy rumors, J-Lo gave birth to twins, Emme and Max, in February. Though her hands were full with two babies, she still made time for her career. In 2008, Mrs. Anthony also announced that she will have her own TV show and launch a new fragrance.
